Cabaret Project presents a Holiday Open Mic

  • Tavern of the Fine Arts 313 Belt Ave St. Louis 63112 USA (map)

Drop by and enjoy a night of great music from St. Louis cabaret artists, backed up by guest music director Ron McGowan on the baby grand. The master of ceremonies is 88.1 KDHX senior performing arts critic Chuck Lavazzi. If you’re planning to sing, be prepared to do one or two songs and bring music, preferably in your key. At least one of your two songs should be a medium or up-tempo number. It’s also recommend that you have your song memorized. Christmas and other holiday songs are strongly encouraged, and don't miss the big Christmas Sing-Along!

Whether you're a singer trying on a song or two or a
just a music lover, come on down and join us for this celebration of the art of cabaret. Admission is free and there's no minimum, although you just might find the Tavern's menu and wine list hard to resist.

This is a monthly event that takes place on the third Wednesday of every month.

Stick around after the show for $5 glasses of wine from any open bottle 10-11PM.

Free parking in the lot across the street.
